Al-Anon participation and are compatible with Al-Anon’s Traditions.

Al-Anon Open Speaker
Meeting:
Friday July 31, 2009 and Friday October 30, 2009. Fellowship begins at 8:00 pm
and an Al-Anon open speaker meeting begins at 8:30 pm. (Open meetings may be attended by
anyone, including people who are not members of or newcomers to Al-Anon.) This Al-Anon meeting hosts a speaker meeting
every 5th Friday of each month that has five Fridays. The meeting is
held on the campus of the
KOMIAC 35 (Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana) Alateen Convention will be held at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana; Friday July 31, 2009 to
Sunday August 2, 2009. KOMIAC is a weekend filled with excitement, fun,
sharing, and unconditional love, for Alateens and sponsors – please click here for a flier

Directions: Take US-127 to
the M-46 exit (Saginaw/Edmore.) Turn east onto M-46 (West
Al-Anon Open Speaker Meeting: Friday October 30, 2009.

The Belleville
“Annual Friends of Bill W. Picnic” will be held Sunday July
19th, 2009; 12pm to 6pm at Pavilion II, Van Buren Park, Belleville.
Bring a dish to pass; hot dogs & corn on the cob are provided by the
group. $3.00 per car load. Hosted by the

The 21st Annual Fall Alcoholics
Anonymous Mackinaw Island Weekend:
Friday October 9th through Sunday October 11, 2009. The weekend will
include fun, fellowship, AA and Al-Anon panels, speakers, an ice cream social

2010 and beyond:
Alcoholics Anonymous 2010 International Convention: The 2010
International Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous will be held July 1st
through July 4th in San Antonio, Texas with the theme “A Vision for You.” This
convention includes Al-Anon/Alateen participation.
Alcoholics Anonymous 2015 International Convention: The 2015
International Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous will be held over the July 4th
weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. This convention includes Al-Anon/Alateen
participation.
Alcoholics Anonymous 2020 International Convention: We are excited to learn that the 2020 International Convention
of Alcoholics Anonymous will be held in Detroit over the July 4th
weekend. This convention includes
Al-Anon/Alateen participation.

EVENTS NATIONWIDE:
Planning a
trip? Want to know about Al-Anon/Alateen events outside of our local community?
The Al-Anon World Services Office maintains a calendar of Al-Anon/Alateen
events held nationwide and internationally. Members can reach the calendar by
going to the “member’s area” of the World Services web site, at http://www.al-anon.org/members/. You need to know the name of your registered “home group” or
your district to enter a password to access the “member’s area.” Follow the
directions to enter the password. Then,
click on “calendar” at the bottom of the page.
