2008 Web Site Changes and Updates

January 2008:  We posted an “annual appeal” for group contributions to the District, Area and WSO on our Announcements page.

We added a translation program to each page, which appears at the top of the menu bar. (Please note that the program can only translate words and phrases; it does not have the capability of correctly interpreting the context and grammar; parts of some pages may not be translated; on some computers, the language selection and the translated pages may not appear in a readable form. Despite these limitations, we hope this will help web site visitors whose preferred language is not English to be able to read our site.) We changed our menu bar to highlight selections in color.

March 2008: We added a link to our Newcomers page to Al-Anon Public Service Announcements on the World Service web site.
